International Exhibition & Competition of Contemporary Arts “Russian Art Week” takes place in two capitals - Moscow and St. Petersburg. Any city (or both) participation is possible by presenting the artworks at first in Moscow (April 19-25, 2010) then in St. Petersburg (July 5-11, 2010).

APPLICATION DEADLINES:

a) to participate in the exhibition-contest in Moscow: 10 April, 2010;
b) for participation in the exhibition-contest in St. Petersburg: 25 June, 2010;
c) simultaneous registration for participation in Moscow and St. Petersburg: 10 April, 2010.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

There are two ways to participate for the competition –
online (in absentia) and in person (internal way).

1) Participation in absentia: Author or impresario should send copies or photos of art works: by email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or post 109129, Moscow, Russia, Malysheva str., 2, kv.35, to: “NextArt – for Russian Art Week”

2) Internal participation: The author brings the artworks:
a) in Moscow: exhibition hall “Moscow Palace of Painters”, 19th April, 2010 (h.11, Kuznetsky Most str.)
b) in St.-Petersburg: exhibition hall “St.-Petersburg Exhibition Center of the Arts”, 5th July, 2010 (h.38, B.Morskaya str.)

ENTRANCE DOCUMENTS:

Entrants will send the following documentation:
а) application form (Resume and Text of a maximum of thirty lines to explain the topic of the artwork);
b) author’s and co-author's photos;
c) competitive works' photos;
d) the label for each artwork (7х4 cm), where one should mention: а) author's (co-authors') surname, name; b) city; c) category and nomination; d) title of art work , e) working technique f) size (cm), g) year of creation.
e) copy of the payment of Participation Fee.

INTERNATIONAL CATALOGUE:
All sent photos will be published in the yearly international catalogue “New Faces in Arts”. In this Catalogue you will find more than 1000 images of authors` artworks from more than 30 countries.

MASTER-CLASSESS:
During Russian Art Week there will be a lot of lectures, workshops and sightseeing program in Moscow and St-Petersburg (www.spbartweek.com).
