You can take part both internal way (in person) and in absentia (online).

Internal participation: The author brings the artworks in Moscow Art Exhibition Hall “Moscow Palace of Painters”, September 23, 2010 (h.11, Kuznetsky Most str.)

Att.: Internal competitors and competitors in absentia have the same rights at participating in the competition. The organizing committee exhibits the online artworks in the Russian Art Week' exhibition hall. All artworks will be published in the yearly international catalog “New Faces in Arts”. In this Catalog you will find images of works of authors from more than 30 countries.

I. Nominations:

1) “Traditional Easing Painting”

2) “Avant-garde Painting”

3) “Digital Painting”

4) “Religious Paintings”

4) “Esoteric Paintings”

II.Technical aspirations (Materials and measures):

1) Participants may submit originals, copies or photoscans of works.

2) Entrants could paint with/on any kind of material.

3) Competitive work is a single work or a group united by common idea/conception (up to 5 objects).

4) Competitive works are to be presented in the form of:

- canvas / sheet (not exceeding over 150cm in length, width or high)

- digital copy (.jpeg or .tiff, not less 200dpi, up to 15 Mb),

5) In the left lower corner of each list a label of 7x4 cm size must be fixed where the following should be mentioned:

a) author’s (co-authors’) surname, name;

b) category and nomination;

c) title of competitive work ,

d) working technique

e) size (cm),

f) City

g) year of creation.

6) Works presented in on-line form (digital forms) are printed and accommodated in exposition.

III. Estimations’ criteria:

Expressiveness, composition and innovation. Competitive works are judged by ten-point system.

IV. HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

Registration deadline: September 23, 2010.

There are two ways to participate for the competition – online (in absentia) and in person (internal way).

Entrants will send the following documentation:

1) application form (Resume and Text of a maximum of thirty lines to explain the topic of the artwork);

2) author’s and co-author’s photos;

3) competitive photos;

4) wire transfer copy of the payment of Participation Fee (see "Participation Fee").

5) the label for each photowork (7x4 cm)

Professional competitors’ categories

1) “Student” category: includes all students of Art / Design / Fashion / Architectural Colleges, Institutes and Universities (BA and/or MA) or graduates (not longer than 1 year ago though)

2) “Professional” category: includes certified artist or those with no diploma in creation of the arts but with the artist experience for their own or other companies.

Each one of the categories mentioned above is estimated separately.
